RANDOM : #7

Hi it's me again. It's has been a long time since my last post, haha. So this is the last semester of me attending classes as on the next semester I would go for my internship. I can't imagine on how I would work, gosh I'm TERRIFIED of being in new environment!

My one and only exam would be on 1st of July which is in 2 days more. While my other friends from other courses (same batch) have no final exam, there is my course which still has final exam. What a lifeeee. But I think it's a blessing in disguise? Maybe

On the bright side, I still has a chance to spend one last time with my friends and bid a proper farewell as we're going to part our ways soon. Yeah it is sad because the fact that I won't probably see these faces again. They whom I met everyday in these 3 years. They who taught me how to be mature, to grow up , to be a better person. Frankly speaking, I will miss them more than my high school friends.

And there's a few times I feel like giving up but this is what I choose to study. As I already mentioned in my previous post, I am a Resource Center Management student where my course is mostly related to libraries. I learnt how to do catalogue a book from scratch, how to do LCC and DDC which widely use in the libraries , create subject-heading which was the toughest subject ever which I prayed only to not repeat the class (I don't dare to pray for an A, tho haha), how to do abstract and indexing and finally on this final semester, I learnt on how to do the tagging (Computerized Cataloging) and also RDA . I hope I will pass with flying colours.

However, I find this course is quite interesting because it had finally opened my eyes, being a librarian is not an easy job. Not as easy as being at the counter and stamp on the borrowed books with a stern face.

And to be a good librarian, you surely have to love to read books. Only by reading can help you to see the world with different views. There are still a lot of things to learn and to discover. And I am happy to be a library student.

So this is the life that I choose to live and I have to keep going . Degree life is just a beginning . There are still a lot more waiting for me in the future.
